Hidden Menu in B8.5

I want to enable the ambient lighting in my B8.5 and have a friend with a Vag-Com. I was looking at this:

but there is no "setup" button on the B8.5 but there is a "menu" button... Will holding down the car and menu button allow me to access the hidden menu?

Yeah I know. I'm going to do it once I can figure out how to access it once I do so. The reset is menu+car+scroll wheel+top right

I am just doing remote window and brighter LEDS on VAGCOM. However, I might want to consider ambiance lighting if I could see the results. Thanks gents!

From the Car menu, just hold Car and Menu at the same time. Just did it tonight on the '13 to enable a few things.

Wouldn't it be the same as the 14? I don't have a "Setup" button either, just "Menu" and "Car"

B8.5 S4's have this. To access hidden menu you hold "Menu" + "Car" at the same time

i was able to turn on footwell lights while driving using carista for my 2014 A4. I was then able to get Interior Lights in my MMI, but it is grayed out so i cannot adjust the brightness of my footwell lights while driving.

Does anyone know how to make the interior light options in the car menu not grayed?

Update: I was able to access the interior lighting brightness setting.

What to do:
hold menu + car to access green menu.
Go to car -> menuoperation -> interior lights -> set to 5.
return to car then go to devicelist and make sure interior lights is highlighted
back out and go to busassignment and change interior light from unspecified (9/9) to CAN Komfort (1/9)
Now reset MMI by holding (Menu + Scroll button + top right)

You should have it available now!

Hidden Menu is only Menu and Car. Reset is Menu, Top-Right, and scroll wheel (push all 3 down, and when you release it'll reset).

I have the same problem. I enabled it with VAGCOM, enabled the settings in both places of the hidden menu, but the option is still always grayed out in the MMI.

I tried 1/9 and 5/9 (1/9 enables it when parked, 5/9 enables it at all times)

There are a million other settings in there that I am too afraid to touch!

So I went into my hidden menu and tried to enable the battery meter and the ambient interior light control. Did as the link stated and got interior lighting to show up under the MMI but I can't make changes (MMI says that the function is not available). Also, can't figure out where to look for Battery Meter. In my hidden menu, I moved both to 5 like it states but nothing happens (and there seems to be room to go way above 5). Any thoughts?
