q7 6 passenger rear center console removable?

Just found out I'm having twins which will make 4. Considering going to the 6 passenger q7 setup, newborns in front captains and 2 and 4 year old in 3rd row. Only way I would consider it however is if the rear center console was removable and the older kids could use it as a passthru to the 3rd row. Anyone know if that setup is possible or have pics?

First and foremost, congrats on the twins! exciting news! As for the captains chair offering, I don't think this is possible in the Q7, at least not that I'm aware of. When we were shopping SUV's, the 2nd row captains chair offering was high on my list. What i found was that most domestics vehicles offer this, but unfortunately very few imports. I think there are few Japanese options, but i don't think any German vehicle has this. I just couldn't get past the build quality on the domestics which is why i decided to suck it up and go through with the Q7.

There is a 6 seater option that has a center console in the second row....so my question still stands. If you remove it you have essentially created captains chairs.

guess this thread is dead, but for those wondering, I've asked an Audi dealer here in Germany about removing the center console. He said its possible. I didnt ask to have it removed so that the kids could walk thru the center to the rear compartment....I asked so that I could have the center console replaced with the Audi/VW refrigerator that is an option in europe.

I have the 2+2+2 configuration in my Q7....

    Hello,
Your twins must be around 3 year old now and hope they are doing well. I wanted to ask you if you were able to remove the centre console from the 2nd row. I am trying to do the same thing and I was searching on google thats how I came across this threat. Please let me know if you were successful in doing so and if it worked out for you. Thank you

IIRC it is possible but it will not be the most attractive since the mounting points will be visible.

the yukon denali offers what you are looking for and is appointed very well for the price and a sticker price of $72,500 could be had for high 60's before taxes and fees.

Thanks for the suggestion there, But I am not looking to spend 72K. I already have a Q7, just want to remove center console from the 2nd row and install a center seat.
