    Audi Q5 3.0T (APR Stg 2) Does 157 MPH...*Vid*

Drag strip was closed, so I made use of the cool weather and another "closed course" to see if I could hit 150mph. Well, it did 150 and was still pulling when I lifted. Ran out of road, I mean "track".

Nice! Not taken my SQ over 130 (yet). Will try and make a similar vid at some point to compare what the TDI can do!
How do you mount the cam btw?
Audi SQ5 TDI Glacier White, 21" alloys, Black Leather, and all the other options except the Pano Roof.

Gopro mount on the steering column. It's actually the mount Arin@APR stuck there months ago when they made their video for marketing the software release for the Q5. I never took off the mount.

Nice, you weren't kidding about "still pulling", it still seemed very happy to keep going. You just need to try and find a track where you've got enough room to really top her out. For science.

    I don't.
Honestly, I've seen other build threads that are way more involved, so didn't really feel mine warranted it's own thread.
    Pretty simple list of mods:

APR Stage 2+ (93 oct tune)
    Roc-Euro Intake
    Scottisha Exhaust
    H&R Springs
    Stance SC-5ive 20x10 wheels with 275/40/20 Hankook Ventus V12's
ECS Tuning 5mm spacers at all 4 corners
    Ceramic tint (15%)
    Airblue windshield film
Hardwired Valentine 1 with remote mute switch
Blacked out chrome trim and emblems.

    I think that's it.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be doing this again. Only so many times you can play with fire without getting burned. I need to save the other time for the Golf R. :)

At least we all know the answer to the question of top speed brought up in the other thread. It will absolutely do 160 mph and I seriously think with enough track, maybe even 170. Especially on race gas. :)

Scott, you're the man. That is all. Oh...you did a slick job of mounting those 18" tires on 20" rims. Sorry...couldn't resist. :)

LMAO.. and that's another reason I don't have a "build thread" someone would use my info to duplicate the build and my info would be all out of whack. Thanks for pointing it out. I must have been thinking of my Golf R wheel diameter.

Funny thing is I don't have a build thread for the Golf R either and it's one of only 3 built by APR (full engine build, head porting, custom APR tune, etc.) and holds the fastest published 1/4 mile time for a Manual trans Golf R (I think that will change this year though. Lots of big power builds out now)

    Word up!

It's good though to get an idea of what others have done. I just sold my heavily modded A4 to get this SQ5 and I'm not sure if I want to go the same route. Thanks for posting the info

I looked at an SQ5 when my Q5 was at Audi for the 25k service last week. Love the interior (like the red ring around the start button) and I love the exhaust. Not to mention the huge front brakes.

I would love to have one, with the same mods that I have now. :)
