2006 Audi A4 Turbo Upgrade Project

Hello so I would like advise and opinions on a Turbo Up Grade for my A4

I have a
2006 Audo A4 2.0T
132,000 miles on it

I would like to upgrade the car to achieve in the ball park of 500+ HP or close to

I know there are threads already on here talking about these types of projects but for the most part it doesn't go step by step ( If there are threads that show this please send them my way)

What I would like to know is

What would I need to do to achieve this without killing the car? Parts to include component upgrades besides just the engine

Where and what kind of equipment am I looking for for this. Providers, kits, build my own kit, ecu's

What threads or web pages should I visit to do research?

Given that I too was a noob once I will help, but idk how in 6 months you haven't found the build section.

Will need rods(minimum), bearings, injectors, clutch, exhaust manifold, at least a downpipe (full exhaust would be recommended though), intercooler would also be recommended, custom tune from either United Motorsport or a Maestro tune, all the misc stuff lines, piping, gaskets etc.

For 500chp would need a 30 series unless you want to run a GTX28 at full tilt all the time with meth. EFR 7163 should also be able to get you there. As for manifolds your choices are probably either RAI, custom, ATP or PPT. I know the ATP manifolds can fit a GT3076 dunno if a 7163 will fit on it though.

There are no off the shelf kits to get to 500chp.

But like flexcj5 said you will probably need about 15k all said and done depending on labor.


Edit: That list is pretty much a bare bones build for a 400+chp big turbo, it will probably need more than that to get to 500chp.

thats a good list to start off of. make your budget for time, then triple it. make your budget for money and then double it.

OP, search. It's been talked about. And frankly, it's an absurd amount of building, time, and money to get remotely close to there. Mec put it best.

How I feel about this thread .
Op it was two years in the making for me go big turbo and I'm still not done. Its much more expensive then you think and having a 500+ HP is not gonna be reliable
