But even if the right hand drive thing is an issue it seems they can be found on the German Ebay too:

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/SCHEINWERFER-...item3f284ecee1

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/SCHEINWERFER-...item5d42da2eb3

These are all in the $200 range whereas American venders sell them for over $1,400!

They will fit your car. Your b6 s4 should have came with xenon headlights from the factory. The difference with a set of rhd headlights would be the cut off. Since drivers drive on the opposite side in most of the European countries, the cut off plates will be positioned opposite of what we would see on us spec lights. You can easily remove the two phillips screws holding the plates and switch them from the left housing to right, and right to left. Kind of hard to explain, but in the US, the cut-off beam should be something like this:
____/____/ The slant being used to light up road signs on the right and not blind oncoming drivers on the left. While euro spec lights are set with a beam like this:

\___\___ the slant being used to light up road signs on the left and not blind oncoming traffic on the right.

Ill tell you guys what i know. On some helix/depo/oem projectors there is a flap that can change it. I don't remember how it would be done but you could make it work with fiddling with the projectors. however i would just buy these:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/190819632248...84.m1439.l2649

ive put them in two cars of mine and the look and work great. Finding the bulbs for them is a bitch... side from that no complaints here.

I don't like the way not all 3 of those are circles.

What about how my current headlights auto-adjust themselves every time I start the car?

lol..the headlight itself may be different from other models, but it's the same concept. Depending on what those ebay sellers are including or not including with the headlights, you may have to take off the leveling motors from your own headlights in swap it into the new headlights. Use the search button; you may find some more info regarding the flap/plate from other b6'ers.

Be very careful, most sedan parts will not fit the cabrio. However, since the code is 8H and not 8E, there is a chance that they will fit.

The ebay.uk link you posted should fit, but they are for halogen headlights and I'm assuming you have the bi-xenon?

Are Americans actually able to sign up and make purchases on European Ebay sites?

So it seems the British ones have the reversed side of the road issue and aren't bi-xenon.
I really don't totally understand everything about the self adjusting factor either.
It looks like the German ones have no orange to the blinkers at all. Isn't that a US requirement?

They're not bad, but the non-complete circle things still kinda bugs me. I also don't see any cabriolet specific version anywhere.

You might be able to just swap the projector assemblies from the left headlamp to the right, and vice-versa. That's what we basically did on my friend's WRX ProDrive headlamps that came from Europe.

I just realized that B6 headlights have a dark gray or black background but they changed it to silver or chrome for the B7.
I wonder if there's silver/chrome ones available for the B6 and if they would look better or worse. Anyone got such pics?
Perhaps those Valeo ones are the only option for silver/chrome on the B6.

Far from the same result....E-Codes give you much better lighting.

That may be true, but the question is if he's going for better lighting or just the visual pleasure of not having the reflector. If it's the latter, then pulling the reflectors make more sense than spending $900.

I've searched plenty and found the going consensus is that the reflector removal DIY is impossible on cabriolet specific lights.

I also would like to switch from having a black background to a chrome or silver one plus better lighting is always a good thing.

The ad also says "Without ballast, levelling device, without bulbs, self levelling system, HID low/high beam + halogen low beam"

So how much of that can be used from my old lights and how much needs to be sourced and from where and at what kinda price?

Who is Valeo anyway? A third party vendor Audi rebadges as OEM? And if so can I just order stuff from some website that stocks all their stuff?
