Why Do People With A5's Vinyl Wrap There Roof?

Why would you do this? It just does not look good on an A5 the corner spaces between the front/rear windows and vinyl f*** up the whole look....

Even for the hood of the car it looks like unfinished business. At least do it like the ABT A5
where it goes all the way down and looks uniform. Your's just cut off halfway like you ran out of money
and couldn't afford to do the rest. Crime Rating: Only 7 since you ran out of money, i hope.



You wrapped the side mirrors in vinyl also dumb idea. The stock looks awesome with the bottom
half black and top half body color. Crime Rating: 3 Not that bad.


Then you did the audi rings white. What were you thinking? Do you realize how cheap it makes the Audi

Also not to mention the corner spaces between front/rear windows with the vinyl wrap roof which
is what this thread is about. Everytime i look at it my eyes go directly to the spaces. The rear view
is the worst.



I can tell you want attention from seeing your license plate and all the vinyl wrap you put on your car trying to make it look "cool".
There is nothing wrong with wanting people to admire your car. You posted "Personally I love the way it looks and it turns a lot of heads now."
The truth is people are looking at it but if you watch them closely they turn there head's and snicker after.
Then they post a pic of your car on there twitter feed and post " Looks like honda and audi are having a merger"

You have the worst Audi A5 Build i have seen on this website and in the general public.

Design and aesthetics are subjective and always a topic of debate on teh internetz. Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate people trying new things [within reason] with their cars... and don't think it's terribly offensive compared to say, super-über-poke wheels with il-fitting tires, for instance.

I will buy it too,, but I will for sure repaint the whole car in to 1 color only and get rid of that white rings ASAP!!!
We (audi owners ) loves our car because of
1) the simple design of it...our cars don't have a lot of curvy lines, nor aggressive looking body parts. classic is classic, we don't need ABT looking kit..
2) be more conservative but never being beaten down.
3) this is where the word "SLEEPER" comes from...we don't need ATTENTION from freaking kids.. we do need it from ppl who are elegant and picky about their car.
4) EVEN THOUGHT we all hate racist... but there is a reason why there are ppl replied ur thread saying " are u latino? " the law prohibits it from happening but most of us still thinking about it. there is a REASON for it.
5) sell it to me and I will turn it around

1. Because I put on a carbon fiber front lip it all of a sudden it becomes an ABT like car? Makes sense, we should tell everyone with the Deval front lip their car is like an ABT.

2. Sorry I like my car to be unique even if it doesn't fit your standard of a vehicle.

Personally, I would not Vinyl wrap my roof. However, to each their own.

This is a car forum afterall. Everyone has different taste. We all have different reactions to other members mod. Sometimes its a face palm, sometimes it just a slap on the wrist, but I don't think we should look sleep over anyone's particular choice of mod.

Not a fan of Kevin's A5. But hey whatever floats the kid's boat. I'm sure he does turn heads (good and bad) with an A5. He's 20 and driving a much nicer car than most people his age.
