Motorcycle like noise from my engine

Ever since last night my car makes motorcycle engine noise when I drive my car its very unusual. Car react absolutly normal but the noise I know it's very hard to explain but this noise wasn't here before. My car is 2010 A5 2.0t model.

Lol, i'm trying to figure out what kinda sound it is. Does it sound like a harley or a GXR? Have you noticed it change with RPM's, Speed, in different gears? making turns or braking? Low pitch or high pitched sound?

LoL sorry, it makes high pitch reving when u step on gas and let go on neutral

I'd say its probly the filter and turbo.

Hmmm, not really sure. but if it's just in neutral I would point to the clutch first (flywheel?). Any change when using the clutch recently? besides the FB wheel, did you do any other mods?

Thats what I was thinking first, but he said no change in the way the engine acts.

Edit: also check engine light would come on because of the MAF

ok that does sound like the turbo... Are you sure you never heard it before and maybe just noticing now? Also did you clean your air filter recently?

I got the eurocode turbo inlet hose along with afe filter about going on two month

I know it's hard to tell but I could hear it from this video, it seems like the noise is getting louder when you let the gas go.

I couldn't hear it right of the bat, but I eventual did hear it. Sounds like a prop plane. I haven't got a clue what that is. Maybe ask the a4 guys since they know a lot more about the 2.0

First thought it could be bearing but not sure about that or it sounds like it could be loose clamp under the car

Check this thread out and read what the OP is describing with his issue. It might be that your wheel bearing is shot. Try unloading weight by driving and swerving (of course in closed road conditions) to see if the sound disappears when you turn left or right while going on the speed that you hear the sound.

Sounds to me like a defective wheel bearing. I've had 2 changed on my S4. I initially thought like you there was a problem with the transmission, turbo or engine. I'm pretty sure that's your problem, get it changed asap.

Sounds to me like a defective wheel bearing. I've had 2 changed on my S4. I initially thought like you there was a problem with the transmission, turbo or engine. I'm pretty sure that's your problem, get it changed asap.

I watched the videos and I agree that it sounds like a wheel bearing but without further experimenting I couldn't say. Also have you modified the exhaust recently? Check to see if you have any exhaust leaks or damage to the muffler because my exhaust will growl a little louder as I slow down to a stop.

No, didnt scraped or modified my exhaust area at all.
