    Yep. That is the best repair guide for Audi. Pair it with VCDS and you are off to the races.

    On a more legal note, anyone have any thoughts about the Haynes manual for the B6 A4? I am buying the kid the Bentley for his birthday, but that's a few months off yet. I have found the Haynes manuals to be hit or miss, some have great "extra" info, others not so much. Thoughts?

    Haynes is typically a good supplemental book and they're cheap on eBay and Amazon. Especially necessary if you're looking for info on the 3.0 because the Bentley doesn't have much about it.

    My DVD version Bentley has "extensive" 3.0L coverage....has so since I bought it in 2005...

    Just a few years ago Bentley stopped selling paper versions of the Audi manuals....apparently they now sell a
    less informative paper version these days....i guess the tree huggers quit bitchn.

    Haynes also offers the Audi A4 manual online for a $19.99 fee for a year! Or paper version for 29.99....

    Like MikTip I have the cd and print pages I want as needed. Sometimes I get the pages covered in grease so I just throw the away. I did the same thing for my Mercury motor, print off the pages I need and keep the lap top handy just incase.

    Find what you need on your computer and print it. Then you don't have to worry about breaking the binding of the book, getting grease on your only copy, or anything similar. While it can make things more difficult if something unexpected comes up, at least you can print out more copies as needed, and you can also search it as well.
