    New tires 275/40/19

    Hey I need a help.Found great deal on new continental extreme contact dws tires
    but here is a problem
    2 tires are 245/40r 19 and
    2 tires 275/40r 19

    I have audi A5 S-line with OEM audi Y spoke rims

    I would like to know if any of you have 275 tires installed on A5 and this rims.Im scared that rear tires will be too wide

    Forget that deal, those are wrong sizes. The 275 is too wide, and the 40 series is too big. Don't do it.

    I have now 255/40 19
    im scared that 35 will be too low,in chicago we dont have that good roads a lot potholes :))

    so 275 is way too wide?

    nyc has bad roads. i run 35 profile. just drive carefully. not like a mad man.

    255/35 on a 19 is plenty of rubber. Seriously.

    **might be too wide for the stock 19s. I run 275 on a 20x10" wheel on the s5.

    what are the stock 19 peelers size? and how many different sizes are there normally for 19 inch rims?

    sidewall thickness: 275*.4=110 -new proposed
    sidewall thickness: 255*.35=89.25 - stock

    Meaning, you will be sitting approx 2" higher off the ground compared to stock.
