OBD2 error codes: P0444 and P0243 and P2400 (EPC light on, but went off)

    Hi,
I recently had these 3 error codes pop up (P0444 ; P0243 ; P2400). My car is an AUDI A4 B7 2.0T Convertible (104k miles, timing belt replaced at 82k). I have looked around this and other forums and I have found some useful information for each code separately. But I was wondering if there might a be a connection to these fault codes all popping up around the same time. Also EPC light went on but then just went away.
I only had problems with coil packs prior to these problems. (about 1 coil pack breaks down every 7500 miles...)

These codes come from Torque and OBD2 reader (not VAGcom)
P0444: Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Open
    P0243: Turbo/Super Charger Wastegate Solenoid "A"
P2400: Evaporative Emission System Leak Detect Pump Control Circuit/Open

All help would b greatly be appreciated.
    Thanks!

Im gonna guess and say that the solenoid is probably the problem and that is throwing the 2 evap codes

Yes, the N80 is that part number. That SHOULD take care of both the evap codes. If not then you might have an issue with the Leak detection pump or the charcoal canister.

Not sure about the P0243 but the wastegate solenoid is the N75. It might not be plugged in, or it could be faulty. Here is the part: http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_A4-...N75/ES2574871/

Hi, came across this thread which applies to my current problem. I have the same 3 codes (243, 0444, 2400) plus 2294. I replaced N80 purge valve, and checked PCV, which seemed good. (I unplugged hose to intake manifold, capped that port on the manifold). I didn't open it to check the diaphragm, but the problem is so intermittent that I don't think the PCV wold cause the symptoms I'm getting.

Start up cold, often times get flashing EPC light, obvious misfire (usually cylinder 3) always CEL. Sometimes the symptoms will simply disappear if I do a key cycle. Sometimes the symptoms will simply vanish.

Just interested to know if the problem described in this thread was resolved and what it turned out to be.

I guess my next steps will be to checked the waste gate solenoid. I don't believe this car has ever had a diverter valve, either, based on the service history.

Sorry for the ramble, thanks much for reading!

I guess it's obvious, but I should probably mention the car is an 07 2.0 B7, (with 186,000 miles behind it!)
