    What's a B7 RS4 engine worth?

    2007 Audi RS4, Daytona Grey and stock for as short a time as it takes me to decide on parts.

    Already, well this is earlier than I anticipated to see B7 RS4 engine swaps...
    What are you going to swap in your RS4 instead?

    Indeed, what would you swap in? JHM, APR and TTS/MRC are all safely getting 600+ hp out of this BNS engine. This V8 FSI is the holy grail - strong, high revving, mostly high flowing. Some stuff to whet your appetite:

    I would swap either a built 2.7t with Tials or the new V8 Biturbo, however that engine is roughly $24K for the long block, soooo IDK about all that. I do like the SC kits but I want more.

    It's worth whatever someone will pay. Then they would want a warranty etc. I'd probably say 5-6K tops. But a lower price would sell quicker.

    Anybody who would swap in a 2.7TT instead of supercharging the RS4 motor is dumb. The V8 on a bolt on blower with race gas will run 10's all day. Find me a b5 that does that consistently with full weight. Now add in that the b7 is heavier than the b5 that will make the task even more difficult.

    Only motor I would swap in would be a built 5 cylinder, or a LS6.
