How many Ibis White RS 4 are there?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
i know that Ibis White is a pretty rare color for the B7 RS 4, but does anyone have the exact number of how many there are in the states?

I know people are probably tired of seeing this pic already of my car, but i love it soo much!

EDIT: just looked at the registry, and my car isnt even an Ibis White. Its actually Arctic White

28 left in North America... I'm not sure how many of those are in Canada (2-3?). One of those is in HI as well depending if you want to count it or not... So maybe 24 in the contiguous 48.

As far as I know, according to the Audi dealers, I have the only Canadian Ibis RS4 west of Ontario. There are some American ones in Ontario, and its possible there may be no other Canadian Ibis RS's other than mine.

Kidding aside - the owner wrote that he credited the car's "tank-like construction" for saving his (and his son's) life. Broadsided at 60mph, multiple rolls. Wow.

Just googled it, so apparently Ibis is more of a "pure" white and Arctic has a shade of yellow in it.

Interesting. Wonder how they got the name "ibis" white. The bird?

My 2005 STi is "Aspen White" and is very much a pure flat white. I guess naming these colors is 99% marketing anyway. LOL

Wow thats a rare car. When researching my s4 a few months back I found out there were 92 phantom black in 2007, so Id say theres probably around 350-375 running around for all of b7, minus the wrecked/any repainted ones....28 is a pretty low number for yours that's really cool.

Now garage it, put it in a protective bubble, and sell it in 20 years for 5 times what its worth now. Its a collectible

You know, I wonder how cars from our "modern" times will fare in the future. Could you imagine an RS4 being called a "classic" in 3 or 4 decades? I dont know if cars these days are truly built to last like the classics have though. Only time will tell

I believe Andy's Arctic is supposed to be a warmer tone, more off-white/yellow to it, whereas the Ibis like mine are more stark white/colder pure-white tone to it. Really depends on the lighting. I guess we'll just have to get some side-by-side pix at the next GTG Andy. Who knows, they may look pretty close, probably all marketing but both are very rare either way. Unfortunately I won't be at the 1st Seattle monthly/bimonthly GTG at World of Beer this month, cuz I'll be riding up in Whistler, B.C., Boo-ya!

Great to have another beautiful, rare & sparkling white, soon-to-be-modded (right Andy? ) RS4 in the Seattle/NW!

    Cheers!
