Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I got a qoute to replace my sagging headliner for $300. This would be with aftermarket foam-backed cloth. Good price?

Also, anyone know part number for that plastic strip at front of sunroof sliding cover? The part you hold to slide. In ecru. (Could not find on genuineaudiparts website).

    Thanks.

    $300.00 parts and labor?

This is to remove and recover your existing headliner?

If so it sounds a bit on the inexpensive/cheap side.

Yes, it includes removing the headliner, recovering it with new matl, then reinstall. This is from a local, independent trim shop that has been in business for ~40+ years.

Not a bad price, in my opinion.

It's quite labor intensive to remove the headliner of a B5.

Just tagging along - the headliner trim/moulding over the driver's door dropped down when the upper B pillar cracked ar the top where the trim enters from the front. I can't get it back in - no instructions anywhere online and I can't find a new trim piece to install - I'm willing to buy a new one hoping to get installation instructions. Headliner is fine, I'm replacing the broken B pillar, but the trim is driving me crazy. I can't use tape forever.

That is a cheap price... i did mine myself and it was a pain, but i feel like i can do it again and very easily if i wanted too.

If you like, i have black ohh shit handles, black sunroof control, and black rear passanger lights as well as a black passanger sun visor.

almost everything you would need for a sedan to convert to black interior since you are wrapping the rest.

let me know if youre interested and we can work out a deal. you can then source the other black parts on your own. like the seatbelt covers and the driver side visor
