Just got a oil change and car starts shaking violently

So I just got an oil change today at a local shop and not even 5 miles later I start having problems. I have a boost gauge and was reading terrible boost barely going over 8 at WOT. I came to a dead stop at a red light and the engine started knocking and the whole car starts shaking violently. i popped the hood and saw the coolant level was way over the max level. I checked all my fluids Sunday and everything was between appropriate levels. I had the car towed back to the shop and im calling the guy first thing in the morning.

Did you check the oil level after the shaking fiasco?

Check the oil level... That'd have been the first thing I would have done after the engine cycled the new oil. You never know when those crazy fucks will forget to tighten the oil pan bolt, and it pops out, along with all of your oil..

It's possible they didn't even remember to refill the thing with oil as well. This is why I do my own work.

oil does a lot of cooling for an engine....you most likely didn't get an oil change but rather an oil drain. That sucks man, hope that you end up getting a new engine out of it!

Mine is a bit different. Right after an oil change the car shakes like if it were missing oil. And it stays like that after a couple starts even after the day of the oil change. Eventually it goes away. Is this normal? Shouldn't it be a smooth idle once you fore up the car after the oil change. I understand you might have to let the oil "settle" but doesn't seem normal. It became normal to me since it goes away after about a day.

Turns out a clamp was loose and caused a boost leak
