    Just bought some 2nd hand RS5 8pot BBK but need help

    As you can see a lot of rust has built up on the rotor hub and this to me is not good enough.. Any advice to clean this up? anything else besides having them re sprayed?

    Yeah, not too difficult to deal with. Wire wheel or brush, degrease, and leave it bare or paint it.

    MSW = Most Soft Wheel.

    Had a set of those identical wheels in 20's but all silver and after bending two got rid of them... watch out for any pot holes these things are like warm butter.

    I have another question,

    If the rotor new is 365mmx34mm then what would be the minimum you can run this rotor thickness (If I was to shave/lathe them)?

    Can't find anywhere and hoping braking experts can chime in..

    cleaned my with wire wheel brush thingy. looks like new....just dont brush too much around the holes etc as it is soft metal.
    at the same time i cleaned (redrilled the cooling holes with slightly smaller drill)...

    I think it's 30mm when they recommend replacing them.
