    Question S4 Tiptronic steering wheel in A4

    So i have a 4 spoke POS wheel atm, and found a good deal on a 3 spoke wheel with the tiptronic buttons either side.
    Just wondering, What parts will i need and has anyone done this that could talk me through it?

    You mean just to install the steering wheel? Or to get the buttons to work too? Do you have a tip?

    with the buttons working, i do have tip, which is why i want this so bad, 2 hands on the wheel the whole time

    You need a working clock spring from the S4 (or tiptronic-button-equipped A4) because it has extra wires for the +/- buttons.

    In a facelift car (2000 - 2001) yes. In a facelift car, you're going to struggle a bit. The clock spring (airbag slipring) is different between pre-facelift and facelift cars. The tip. function may not be an issue, but airbag functions might.
