    Poorboy's Wheel Sealant: A Review

Wanted to write a small review on this wheel sealant I used called Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. I put it on in mid April with an applicator pad, and added 4 coats. Since my wheels are uncoated polished aluminum the guys at poorboy's recommended that I apply it on and wipe it off directly after I finished applying it over the whole wheel. If I had a painted wheel, I'd have to let it haze. Not the case with polished wheels.

Any ways I put 4 coats on in mid April and washed the car once a week from then on. Today it's been over a month and a half since then and my wheels look as good as they did in April. I use a microfiber to clean my wheels with soap and water, and most of the brake dust washes right off as soon as I pour water on them. Here are some pics...

Over all, the wheel sealant has saved me from polishing my wheels every week like I did last year. Poorboy's has advised me that the sealant has protection up to 4-6 months, but I really want my wheels to be polished up more than what they're at now... So I might polish them up again in the next week or so...

I say this product is very awesome and will last a long time, epecially for those running certain wheels for the summer season

It really is great stuff. I've been using it for about eight years now, going back to when I was detailing a lot of cars. For individual use, a tub will last you a long, long time. Technology has rendered this a bit, "old school," but while I ponder which coating to buy, I still smile at the results from PBWS.

I don't believe Detailer's Domain carries the brand, but you can buy direct from Poorboy's World, Autogeek, and a number of other resellers.

I am definitely sold on the product. I'm probably going to try some of their other stuff as well.

So what does DetailerDomain have that's comparable if not better? I like to support our vendors when ever possible especially since Philip usually takes care of the discount anyway.
