Axle Nut and CV shaft Torque Spec.

If I remember correctly the torque spec for the axle nut is 179ft/lb + 180deg, just pulling this out of my bad memory so correct me if I'm wrong. I also need the torque spec for the bolts that hold the CV shaft in... I have looked and I see blue loctite them and impact the shit out of them, not precise but if others agree that's what Ill go for...

Also should I re-grease the inner bearings of the CV shaft. Its OEM with 190k on it, it looks okay but just wondering.

One more question while I'm at it. I replaced my clutch slave and master and bled the crap out of them, I have pressure that builds in my clutch pedal. When I force it to the floor and let it up it comes up slowly and whines the whole time? Is this normal to a freshly bled system or is that caused by air still trapped inside one of the two.

I just apply oil to the axle bolts and gun them on as tight as it will go, no Loctite. The 6 smaller axle bolts are 55Nm. Not necessary to re-grease unless the boot broke. Air maybe still trapped in your clutch line.

Okay cool, Ill gun the shit out of the axle bolt...

The clutch I got bled enough to where it engages at the very top of the stroke guessing it needs bled quite a bit more. The guys at the shop say it should work its way down, but I don't see it working itself anywhere without bleeding it more, correct?

Just bleed it some more, and see if any more air comes out. I bled mine not long ago because my clutch just stopped working all together. I bled it and it came back.

    Horrible advise.

Axle bolt is a torque to yield bolt and I think it's 140 ft/lbs + 180 degrees. No impact can do this properly.
