its a joke its not a real thing. But if i were to make one you get two to three cars and a bunch of people to help mask the car. One car goes in a garage to get sprayed while the two others bake and rotate. Plasti Dip party. Then inbetween it all you could dip on the little random parts people want to knock out with the extra paint. -Dip Party Founder lol

Plastidip is very durable if you put on enough coats.

So here's my first attempt at using plasti dip. Dipped my mirrors and shark fin black. Fin needs to be redone, but mirrors look good for now. Next is blacking out the trim and maybe the door sills

I've done window trim before, I think vinyl might be easier. I ordered the shadowline window trim vinyl in gloss black.

I just looked on Craigslist for someone local selling it. Some guy in west LA had gallons of regular colors for $55/gallon and then like $65-70 for the crazy colors like blaze orange and that kind of stuff

Or you can always buy it from dipyourcar.com They sell a lot with sprayer, painters tape, paint, and other little goodies

how do you guys deal with filling up for gas? Just being very careful not to drip any?

Yeah basically. I haven't had any issues so far (roughly 15+ fill-ups)

Also if you get simple green on it the shot just melts. My friend had some dipped trim melt off when he put some simple green on for another reason
