Traction Control Light on/off after Pulling Battery Terminal

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
The Traction Control light came on yesterday on my wife's B7 after I pulled the negative battery terminal in order to clear CEL. I pulled the battery after I have replaced her EVAP Purge Valve for code P0455. So pulled it to see if the code would come back, but now I have this issue. It goes off after driving and hitting the brakes at the beginning of a trip; however, it comes back when I am a out to park.

Anyone with this trouble? I am getting my scan tool this weekend, but wanted to see if anyone had to fix this.
I googled this issue but everyone's issue sounds different.

The car has been driven several miles since today and yesterday...at least 35-40 miles.
I got my scan tool today (V-Checker Pro). It read 2 fault codes under Brake Electronic; here they are in sequence:
01826 steering angle sensor -G85 voltage supply terminal 30
    00493 ESP sensor unit -G419

I cleared the fault codes and the light came right back when I started the engine, I drove the car and the light went away for several seconds and the popped back in the dash.

Fly300kts, I don't know how to do this. I would love to, but I don't have VAG-COM and I am definitely a noob when it comes to car electronics. Can I use my V-Checker Pro for this?
I am trying to resolve this to go back and do an emissions test. Apparently you need to have clear cluster.

    You need a VAGCOM
Check around your area who has one and for info, with an Audi, consider buy one for you, it will save you a lot of $$

OK...I believe the issue is more serious now as the light doesn't go away anymore for a short time as it did initially. Well I will locate someone with a VAG-COM.
    Thanks,
    Drew
