S5 Intro/build

After months of looking I finally came across the right S5 at Audi of Chattanooga in TN. Picked it up Fed 5th and drove it back to Ohio without any disappointments. 100% stock CPO 09 MT Ibis/Magma/Carbon with 22k miles with every option other then drive select/adaptive cruise. For those that have seen my B5 and B7 I'm very picky when it comes to planning mods. So here is how it sits as of right now since I've decided to go with a similar theme as the B7.

-KW V1 Coils which are about a 1/4" from the lowest setting in the rear with the fronts set to match.
-Cargraphic Race forged 3 piece wheels with stepped stainless 3"/4" lips in 20x9.5/20x10.5 with Pirelli P Zero 255/30/20 and 295/25/20 (supposedly only a few sets in US)
-Stasis Touring Exhaust
-AWE Filter
-Rieger roof spoiler (not in the pics)

Definitely more to come as it has only been a few short months...

Car looks great. Congrats! I really really reallyyyy like these wheels. They remind me of the work VS-XX. *Staring at them for several minutes* Dammit, you have me wanting to swap out wheels for the first time in a year. Tips look a bit weak in size but thats just me.

I have a soft spot for stepped lips and since 20" LMs are pretty hard to find I could not pass on these. The exhaust tips do look better in person, but I do agree that Stasis could have went with something a bit more aggressive looking.

the spokes look like tree branches in comparison, and is longer and thinner. well i love the vs-xx its one of, if not, my favorite jdm wheel so i know there is nothing that can compare lol.

Not gonna lie, at the 3/4 quarter panel angle shot, the wheels do look similar to VS-XX, kind of. But when you look at them straight on, they look nothing like VS-XX.

I guess it's a combination of both and more bolts is what really makes these resemble the VS-XX. What I really liked about the LMs is the fact that the faces were completely flat.

They're out there just not enough with the right options and low mileage. Took me a few months to find this one even though I was really looking for 2010+ Either way you will most likely have to go out of state if you're really picky with the S5s.

Couple new additions/changes over the summer.

-Cargraphic wheels looked great with their polished stainless stepped lips but were unfortunately too heavy at nearly 35lbs each. Those have now been replaced with ADV.1 TrakFunction in 20x9.5 and 20x11 which are over 10lbs lighter. I was still able to retain stepped lips and chose to go with brushed centers and chrome lips. Tires are once again P-Zeros in 255/30/10 and 295/25/20.

-Added a 2Bennett 365mm 8 Piston Brembo big brake kit. These are essentially RS5 brakes with their own 2 piece floating rotors. The only change i've made after receiving those is the custom brushed finish on the calipers with red Brembo emblems.

I also picked up a set of custom downpipes with a built in x-pipe which I will install soon and post some before/after sound clips. Now just waiting on all the JHM goodies to be released to the public.
