    Pes superchargers ?

    So i googled Pes tuning, and found a bunch of threads about ppl that had installed a supercharger from Pes tuning on there S6´s, the info was kind of scatchy, most bad things had happened to there cars, what i could read and understand it was from poor design of the supercharger... Still this where threads from back in 2010 2011

    Does any one have any current feeback on Pes superchargers ??? Do they work or is it just shit??

    The PES uses an eaton m62, which is TINY. Way too small for a 4.2. You'd need somewhere around an m112 to work well. Otherwise, it's not worth the time and effort.

    Wow! An M62 is really small for a V8. They use that size on little four cyl. Mercedes and Mini's.

    With PES its mostly the tuning that is suspect, rather than the hardware.

    It should be noted that's what they use in the 2.8 kits. As for tuning, it's shit. Crazy lean, etc. But the v8 kits are still slower than stock from what I've heard.

    pretty sure i remember readin 036 made some progress with a pes charged 2.8 in regards to reliability. SO if I ever get my 3.0 done with their "G3" ill be giving 034 a ring or just message ddillenger.

    POS . . . It's a giant heat sink. If I remember correctly kingofnyc gained 0.2 second in the 1/4 when he had his done few years back. No matter how well they improve it that sticks in my brain. He spent 8-10k for .2 of a second he could have gained that pulling the interior and saving some weight.

    the 4.2 kits use an M90, not that its a well suited blower either.

    Nope. Timmmmy will build you a rear mount turbo setup but you'd be the gunea pig as no one has offered up the car and cash to do it.

    they updated their R8/RS4 kit to an m112. i inquired a while back if they would do an s6 with the m112, they said no
    AEB: Boost goes in, valves come out.

    That kind of suck, really wanted a supercharged for my 35th birthday... =(

    Still i live in Sweden, so Pes was kind of the thing i could get my hands on, Pes has a dealership in Denmark, but after reading the bad reviews, ill think ill skip it..
