Final Dyno SRM K24 before removing cats and 2.5" downpipes

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    32psi - 604whp - 572wtq

Iat's graph also placed below, Vegas is hot....

I will also preface the IAT graph that this was the 2nd to last pull. The 3rd pull that yielded the dyno graph decided to stop logging at 6200 but was just as severe of a climb so just posting this one for reference.

Needs more fuel in the middle and pulled a little timing there.

    Reminder of hardware, on e85:
    J-WOWW tune
    Billet RS6 hybrid turbos
    RPM rods
    Stock heads
stock IM with Cobbled RS4 tb
SSAC 2.5" downpipes with cats and double resonated 2.5" catback
    Cobbled inlets
    Cobbled y pipe
    Cobbled mandrel bent bi pipes
    Cobbled together intercoolers
IE dual 044 surge tank fueling
    034 rails
    1000cc ev14

The cobbled mess as it sits

604whp with INSANE IATs with a bit of altitude.

Whats that? 660whp+ on a dynojet?

2.5inch downpipes and dual 2.5 inch exhaust and stock heads, lol. 3" downpipes and a bigger catback + cat delete should break 600wtq...

Great numbers. These are the turbos selling for 2K? I mean, if they hold together why wouldn't one buy them?! Plans to hit the track? That's serious power.. And if they have a good powerband, could be really potent on the track.

What does the boost onset look like?

What were the uncorrected numbers for your previous 550whp dyno? What differences were made to your setup between now and then?

1st dyno run was 72lb injectors at 6.5bar. One of the injectors popped so replaced with 96's and lowered to 4bar. Boost tapered from 28-25psi as the mbc was leaking. Holds flat now.

    Correction looks roughly the same.

    Very nice numbers.

Would love to see what it does on 93 only though... E85 is a huge help for sure.
Lots of smoothing on that dyno plot, what did a non smoothed one look like?

    30psi till redline?

We have a ton of rough pulls on many other cars on this dyno. I didnt notice the operator added a filter up top... No idea what the un-smoothed curve looks like

Then that's still a very smooth power delivery, filtering is pretty standard on dynos.

I'm gonna get a ride in this car when I come out right? :-)

I would suggest if running an mbc, around 28psi OR spiking on n75 30-32 and tapering to high 20's by redline.
When you say 32 psi, what exactly is that referring to? An initial spike or what is held?

Nice man.. I'll take mine out and send it FedEx Custom Critical... Should be there ASAP, probably only run you 5k in shipping. lol.

Random Vegas question - Is the Nurburgring copy still being considered to be built out there? Or did that thought go down with the rest of Vegas's economy in 2008?

Over 50 hard launches and no issues, hooks up every time. People dont understand that using these button clutches doesnt require as high clamping force. You can use a 4 button clutch with stock pp and hold over 600wtq.

If you can find a reliable, up to date compressor map of a 2283 wheel then you can probably answer better than me.

Looks like combined they flow close to what my one turbo will...
Only mine won't quite run out of steam at 30psi... So it should be fun

So based of what I see these turbos fall just below 770's and a good bit above 605's..........could everyone agree that's accurate?

Or wait.....with ~25% drivetrain loss(AWD) these would texhnically almost identical 770's? (not seeeing how this is possible due to the 770 being larger in every way with a BB CHRA)

    Math:

    770/1.25= 616 whp
    604/.8= 755 chp

.8 is derived from the percent change from 770 to 616 to keep things consistent

If you could refer me to results from a built 605 engine with an E85 tune I'd be better able to give my 2 cents.

You are both referencing the same car, there have been others that broke 700awhp (i.e. other fuel type, non-dyno jet, etc).

Regardless, this type of keyboard tuner comparison is a giant waste of time. However, I am sure we can both agree that the 770 is still probably capable of a bit more peak power. This still doesn't make it the best choice considering cost and other factors.
