Request: Pics of Black B8 S4/A4 with appearance mods

I know there are tons of pics out there, but I'd like to start a thread dedicated to Black B8's. Similar threads could be started for different color cars. My S4 is black, and I'm having a heck of a time deciding on what rims to order. I'd love to see a bunch of other black cars with modified bits in one thread.

So, I request that if you have a black B8 with custom wheels, bumper, tint, etc. etc., even if you're reposting, throw some pics into this thread.

Here are a couple of mine. I have OEM RS4 rims 19x8.5 et 43 no spacers yet. Plastidiped window chrome, RS4 grill, laminx 6% tint heads and tails and yellow fogs, rain gutter mesh inserted into both fogs and Eibach pro kit springs. Exhaust is Fast Intentions.

The PO did most of the mods (tint, H&R OE Springs) and bought the wheels but I don't have specs for them. They're 19" 3-piece iForged wheels and a joy to clean.



Here's a closeup of the wheel after fixing minor curb rash:



I just replaced the front grill and de-badged it. Well, that and doing the full USS kit, Alu Kreuz and the APR exhaust. I'll polish the exhaust tips every once in a while with "never dull" and it really enhances the rear view IMO.

Considering going back to a satin silver finish on the wheels this summer. Gloss black looks great when clean (a day or two), but really dull most of the time. Also, paint seems to be chipping easily...

primm907: do you only use those wheels during spring/summer/fall? That sucks about the paint chipping but I guess there's nothing anyone can do about rocks hitting the rims.

That's probably part of the problem, UltraS4John. And, it's definitely from rocks hitting the rims. I left them on this winter with the expectation of driving my beater a lot more than I actually have. With the exception of the heavier snow and ice days (when I couldn't get my car out mainly due to ground clearance), the S4 has been driven. It's just too much of a great all-rounder; not to mention way more fun than an old Jeep!

Just got the car in December so I haven't done much in the winter.

I'm not huge into blacking the car out so I went with an alternative approach with the grille. I hated the grey on the crash bar so I ordered some vinyl strips to transform it:




I ordered coilovers and Forgestar CF10's in Titanium. Will get those on and update when the weather warms up here.

Thanks! I got the grille through AMI (or whatever their name is now... eurocollective?). I'm pretty sure the ebay one's are exactly the same and can be had for a tad cheaper though . Install was good w/o any issues and I just mounted the homelink on the back of the crash bar via 3M stick tape like many others on the forum have done. Appreciate the kind words!

Next 6-8 weeks will bring RS5 front brakes and xdriled rotors for the rears (plus pads lines etc), Deval front and rear CF diffuser/splitter, and new Stance SC6 20's (I think ... still debating and need to measure once brakes are on next week).

Bilstein PSS10 Coilovers.
Eurocode Sway Bars, End Links & Drivetrain Stabilizer.
SPC Control Arms.

Fender-to-ground is 25 & 3/4 inches all around, leaving about a one finger gap.
