its not easy to value stuff like this since 1 of 70 is an intangible asepct, as well as the fact its a classic/collectors car amongst certain individuals. However, im not aware of any special edition long wheelbase rallye version. maybe send us the link of this ad and perhaps we can confirm the validity of what he is advertising the car to be

the part i dont understand is the "rally limited edition"

i know there were only 70 85 urq sent to the usa, not sure what this edition is. HOWEVER regardless of that fact, a car like that is the absolute collector status car, with that low of miles it should fetch a good 45k+

found the ad, its on audifans. buyer wants $60k. I suspect that the seller just modified the car to look like the A2 rally car, im not aware of any sort of special edition for the URQ that was sent to the US, or even made at all for that matter

It would take a pretty serious collector to buy this car, considering we were only sent the weaker 10v engines and putting in the much better in every aspect 20v would lower any "collector" value of the car

I say 20-25K. 60K is sport quattro territory.

$26k if the car is truly mint and kept up.
Sitting in a garage is not good for the old cars. They need to move.

even at $30,000, it will be a tough private sale. May be the kind of car to bring to on of the auction houses, like RM. http://www.rmauctions.com/consign/

Often on low mileage desirable cars, they can find a couple of well to do collectors who take an interest in it. Can get twice as much for some cars than trying to sell them as an individual. Just don't let them talk you into setting a low reserve that "will really get the bidders interested"
