G13 Coolant & Pentofrost SF Mix?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just noticed that my coolant is low and I am going on a trip this weekend. When I changed my timing-belt I used G13 Coolant which came in a timing belt kit from ecs. My question is whether or not I can add Pentofrost SF to G13? My coolant is quite a bit lower then the MIN line (bigger issue that I will take care of when I get back) so I wouldn't consider it an "average top-off". I have had no luck locating a thread on any site that directly references mixing G13 and Pentofrost SF. Any help is much appreciated.

I assume you mean G12 coolant. But yes Pentofrost SF will mix just fine with OEM coolant. Keep a jug of distilled water in the trunk for the trip also. You never know. Distilled water is better than nothing...

Awesome. Thank you for your reply but no I meant G13. That is why I posted this thread. Here is the G13 that I am running:

I had a feeling it would be fine based off all the searching I did but wanted others opinion. Especially since its Pentofrost SF and not Pentofrost G12++

Perfect. I knew what everything could mix with but I didn't know that Pentofrost SF = G12+. No where on the bottle doesn't it mention that it is G12+ and ECS advertises it as G12+ so I didn't bother clicking on the link. I appreciate everyone's input.
