There is no cost just to go to this. But if you want to fully participate (have a vote/say in things), then you will need to join Audi Club of NA. Their website can be found here: http://www.audiclubna.org/

    The pertinent part about costs:
"The membership cost is $44 per year ($52 outside of the US), $75 for two years or $99 for three years and includes a subscription to the Quattro Quarterly, a publication which provides an enormous wealth of information to Audi owners. A Lifetime Membership to the club is available for a one-time payment of $600."

Being a member will get you discounts at Strong Audi for parts and such, so there is a chance to actually have the membership pay itself off. Also, many events that will be planned, like Driving Schools at the new race track being built, will require membership.

Unfortunately, I don't have more details on what the local club will be doing, as we have yet to figure that out.

And the parent post here has been cross posted over at VWVortex and AudiWorld.

Cool Nord, this sounds like it could be pretty interesting. I'll take a look at the website.
    Thanks!

Well at a minimum, 2. That would be me and Terry, the guy who is spearheading this. Also, 1 or 2 guys from the dealer, possibly even the owner (owner was there for like 5 minutes at the A3 tech session in June).

From the Audiworld group, I see about 5 "I should make it" posts. From the Vortex, nothing, but not surprising given thats more of a dub group. From here, looks like 1 or 2 people.

So I'd venture to say at least 5, hopefully 10. Do note this is more of a business type meeting rather than a casual GTG. But it will define what the Audi Club will do here in Utah. So its fairly important.

    Voting on club officers.
    Discussion of club activities.
    Club communication (online/phone tree/etc)
    Club recruitment.

I think thats about it. The big one to me is the club activities. I have a few ideas to discuss, and this topic will more or less make or break the club here.

So if you want input on any of these, sign up with Audi Club NA and show up to the meeting.

No you won't have to be a member of Audi Club NA to attend the meeting. You will to be able to vote on anything that may come up.

I have a lot of ideas myself, but I'm gonna hold off till the meeting to discuss them. One that will be prominent is the Audi Driving School we will be hosting at the new race track being built over in Toelle. Note to attend that event, you have to be a member.

The meeting will most likely be 60 minutes long, at most 90 minutes. Shouldn't take up too much time out of a persons day.
