Ok, I saw stoneplayter posted about his wheels rubbing, and I got nervous since I just ordered new wheels. I ordered:

    18x8
    ET35

Running 235/40ZR18XL tires, I'm not lowered nor do I plan to. What's the consensus, will this work without rubbing?

    Thanks,
    Doug

That shouldn't cause any rubbing. I run the same size, am lowered (slightly), and only get rubbing going over bumps with weight in the back.

how did it work out? got pics? I'm thinking about replacing my 17's with 18's and also will not be lowering. Interested in pics with that wheel/tire combo to get an idea.

Remember, Cabrios are 30mm lower than standard A4/S4. So keep that in mind. I am on H&R Springs and have some rub going over harsh bumps at speet with 2 250lbs adults.

JHarris your car looks aggressive and I like the color of the interior!

Islandhydro, those must be some special wheels to get them all the way from across the pond! Can't wait to see them!
