I was wondering how many miles we can get on our gas monsters . I know it depends on city and highway, but i want to know whats the most you have gotten out of a full tank and how many miles do you average on a tank.

The most i ever got was around 300 i think it was mostly highway, i can be off a few. On average, i get a little less than 230 miles per tank and thats mostly city style driving.

mine said 412 at last fill up. But I am averaging over 26mpg on mine.
As said above, right foot is the biggest factor along with how much open freeway driving you get.

Right around 250 miles out of 15 gallons of gas in regular city driving. I can get about 420 miles on the highway out of the same 15 gallons. I am pretty heavy footed with a lot of 80-90 mph driving both in-town and on the highway.

I typically use 12 gallons per tank, and get around 240ish. This is with 35 Highway miles and 10 city miles per day average without a heavy foot.

My mpg over the life of the car is somewhere around 16-18mpg ... which is around ~250 a tank..seems about right.

i've averaged as high as 29mpg on longer highway trips.

The best I have ever done probably was about 330 with a tank but mostly I could pull around 240 since I mostly drive 5 miles on the local road back and forth to train station and do long drive during the weekend.

I've never calculated it, but my gas mileage appears to be horrid, but I'm certainly having a good time.

Maybe 330. I don't keep track of the total miles per tank. I do a long 60 mile highway commute each way every day and was getting around 22 MPG with 80+ MPH cruising, heavy footed driving. Now I am in ticket trouble... I have the cruise control set at 74 and am getting 24 MPG average. I once got 29 MPG on a trip where I forgot my wallet, went somewhere and realized on the way home I was on empty with no money and drove the highway home at 60 drafting trucks.

250 give or take. Mostly city driving. I don't feel that bad anymore now that I see people are getting similiar results.

One time I let the DTE go to zero and I reset my trip to see how many miles after the DTE = 0 the car will get. I got over another 15-20 miles out of the car before it quit. I then used the 1 gallon tank I had pre filled to get me to gas station to fill up.

I like to know the limits.

I avg. just under 23 MPG with mostly highway driving (but more than 65 MPH avg.) and fill up around 300-320 miles. The MPGs are fine, but the tank is the smallest of any car I have had in a long time, so I stop for gas much more frequently than any car I can remember.

The fuel pump will wear over time if you drive it on empty a lot. But it has to be very empty (almost running on fumes) for that to happen.

I get about 260-270 every tank. that's mostly city with a short 3-4 miles perday on the highway.

MPG is aobut as bad as my Cayenne S was. I was averaging about 15-16 with that and it was 50+ hp and 3000 lbs heavier than the S4. But I'm not complaining because I love driving this car everyday. Best car I've owned so far

I only did it once to see what my limits were if I were to ever run into a decision making situation. Car won't be damaged by running out if fuel once. I think their engineered a little better than that ;)
