Vinyl Wrap - new color - help me decide!

Hey Fellas,

I got my car wrapped about 18 months ago and was very tentative about making the commitment. Fortunately, I was negotiating an entire fleet of company vehicles to be wrapped and may have bartered my car as I chose the highest bidder.

Well a couple Saturday's ago my avant was dented by a neighboring car door. This dent came directly across the body line on my right rear quart panel. It did very minimal damage to the paint, but did scuff entirely through the vinyl wrap.

Long story short, insurance has been very cooperative and because I cannot have the vinyl replaced in the same color, they are having the entire car redone. With that being said, I would like to extend this poll to my fellow enthusiasts.

With that being said, all colors will be flat and I'd love to see what you think?

Flat Black (existing wrap that was damaged)


Flat silver


Flat yellow


Flat red


Flat green (military green - not depicted well here)


Flat blue

Yellow looks surprisingly good. I'll go with that.

I really do like the black, but if you want to change it up a little, I've seen some people do some orange wraps that look absurdly good. Camo green (not that olive green) always looks good too.

I think the black helps highlight your wheels the best. But in descending order, I vote black, silver, yellow... Is there a vinyl close to Achat Gray?

I would say do matte white, but then again don't do it, because that's the color I want to pick

I'm with BC on this Matte white. I see it over here on RS5's and RS4 avants all the time but I think it's an actual paint option here. Either way it looks great.

I also opted for matte yellow. I didn't see burnt orange otherwise I would've gone for that.

I don't really get the flat finish craze. White is the only color I would consider if doing a flat finish.

Beyond that, I'd go for a color that was not an option from the factory.

I wanted to do white, but the vinyl shop has done everything to convince me otherwise. They have been telling me that white turns out really well, but deteriorates very quickly with wear/tear? I can't speak on behalf of white, but matte black was pretty easy to maintain.

I like the green but my personal choice would be a burnt orange but it doesn't look like its in the running.
