2015 Audi A5??

Audi is going from bad to worse in my opinion. Not sure they will come up with a better A5 design again like they did in 2008-12. What do you all think?

That's fake! Get real, nobody launches news about a new model so soon after the facelift was released! That's wasted money and getting clients away, Audi will not do this.

If I would buy a newly launched model and they launch a next model in the same year, I would sell the car and turn to other brands. Period.

I like the current 8.5 styling personally, but even if that picture, (which I highly doubt) is the new A5, I will be glad I don't/won't own one...

To say Audi is going "from bad to worse" suggests that the B8 A5 is ugly and the next generation will be even more ugly. I realize that you didn't make the statement, but it's still a silly thing to say unless you think the B8 A5 is ugly.

I did have a deposit on a 2013 to be delivered after my deployment was over, but because I won't be back until September, my military sales agent switched it to be a 2014 model instead... As far as he told me, there aren't any exterior changes, there might be a few package changes, but they won't know until early next month...

You guys realize that you are discussing a CGI that is nothing more than someone's uneducated guess at to what the next A5 theoretically might look like, right? I can pretty much guarantee that it will NOT look like the current A5 with a Ford Fusion front end.

Audi should ditch the TT and replace it with a car based on the Quattro concept. Shortened A5 platform, longitudinally mounted engine, real quattro...much better than the "New Bettle on steroids" that is the current TT.

Okay, gotcha. You should have made that clear. I thought you were saying that A5 has always been "bad".

BTW, I agree with you. I'm not a big fan of the FL, but I don't think it looks horrible. I just don't think it looks as nice as the original design. But I do fully expect the next generation of the car to go downhill in terms of overall styling. Time will tell.

It would not make sense for Audi to offer another 'facelifted' version...

That's just someones wet dream, and if you actually read the little blurb, it makes no sense at all... "The 2014 Audi A5 Coupe Review has many great features that everyone need in a car. What great features? There is no mention of what features they are referring to. It is one of the cars that we may off in front other friend. Off in front, maybe they meant show off?!? Driving this kind of car will raise our conceit. Raise our conceit? I don't even know what this means... There is no hesitation about it. This car may not the most excellent on its level but it is obviously worth a try." WTF? Garbage... Like I said, it doesn't make sense to change the exterior of the 2014.

+1, Personally I think post #20 is a good example of what it should be... but it probably won't...

They also said the 2014 S4/S5 would be powered by a 2.0T, make the same power, be faster and weight at or around 3000lbs, but that didn't happen either...

Weight is the biggest issue with using 2.0Ts as their main motors for the sport models, not that its a bad engine but even that 3500 pounds thats a lot of weight to put on that kind of engine, even a 328xi at ~3600 pounds does the 0-60 deed in ~5.5 seconds.

So I guess it comes down to how much the B9 will weigh and if they can throw down that power well enough to make it worth it.

the next gen A5 will be 2016, not 2015. too soon, the facelift just came out for this year. It will come late 2015 as a 2016 model at earliest. love b8.5, but the b8 is just as good, just without the new tech and interior stuff which is what really put the icing on the cake for me as a b8.5 owner :).
