Vmr 710 rims need Audi center caps

Have the vmr710 wheels looking for some direction for buying centres for them.

I have the V710s as well and picked up a set on Ebay..... I'm pretty sure you want a set with this part number 4B0 601 170 A but you probably need to verify the mm cap size. I looked back at my purchase history but could not find it.

Ebay is silly with cheap knock off caps. I decided it was worth a couple of bucks to try a set. They work perfectly and I've had no durability issues. I think I got a set of four for less than $10 shipped.

or you can just swap the caps from the factory wheels (at least that's what I did with my factory 19" peelers).

same here. the factory center caps from my 19 in peelers fit the VMR 710s just fine.

They may still fit - and you only have 1 set on the car at a time so you can just keep swapping them as you swap wheels each season.

The factory 18s cap does not work on vmr wheels. The 18 cap covers the bolts and center of the wheel. It is not round like the 19" ones.

I do not know if they come in other sizes but that might help the board on where to direct you to center cap fitments (or even calling VMR).

I had my 721 wheels installed at the dealership today. They said the Audi center caps did not fit. I went from OEM 19x8.5 to VMR 19X8.5. I was told the tech attempted to put them in but it was VERY tight and he didn't want to force it.

It is a snug fit?

They put in the VMR center caps which I don't think look bad. I got the gunmetal so with the black center cap it doesn't look obvious (and it helps the calipers are black too).

Hey, are your VMR wheel center caps plastic or metal? Mine appear to be plastic and I agree the black ones don't look bad on gunmatal rims i worry about the durability. Also, since I don't have my car yet, did they install the center caps so the writing is all in the same orientation. Haha, sounds ridiculous but it would probably piss me off if they were all facing different directions.

I think it would be impossible to keep them all lined up the same way.

The tires will spin at different speeds at some point so that will cause them to no longer be lined up.

But on the 721s installed for us they facing different ways (the VMR letters).

Nice looking combo. I'm currently running 18' VMR 708s with the VMR center caps and am planning to get some Audi caps for next winter. My stockers are 18's as well, but I didn't try to transfer the OEM caps to the 708s (not even sure if they fit). I'll need to call up VMR to find out what size works.
