    Misfires after Injector Cleaning

So I was having an occasional misfire issues and decided to change the o rings on my injectors because there were signs of them leaking on the intake runners. I also did a compression test while I was at it see what my engine was putting out at 127k miles...155-160 on all 4 cylinders so that made me feel pretty good. I cleaned and reinstalled my injectors however in the process broke one of the plugs that snaps into the housing on the front cam sensor. The plug still snaps into the male plug but the male housing broke away from the aluminum cam cover. I didn't think it would be a big deal. So I started the car and fired right up and idled pretty smooth but all of a sudden started misfiring like crazy. Pulled codes for p1364 1355 1358 1361 for open ignition circuit on all 4 cylinders. My question is could this be caused by breaking that housing on the cam sensor even though the wires were all still connected? Can any malfunction in the injector harness or seats cause these codes or is this strictly ignition. The only other ignition source I messed around with was disconnecting my 034 ignition harness from the coil packs when doing the compression test. I'm thinking that maybe when I plugged t back in I messed up some of the connectors in the plug. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

So after checking everything I found that I had broke a wire inside the cam position housing sensor....hopefully this was the cause for all the misfires yesterday. Just curious why I didn't get a specific implausible signal for the cam sensor itself. See pics below. [IMG][/IMG]

So I fixed the plug and wire to the cam position sensor and now when I start the car I am getting a misfire on cylinder 4. I pulled the plug and its soaked. Could anything I have done make the injector flood out the cylinder? Could the injector not be seated properly? Should the injector be tight in the liner intake seats or tight against the rail?

The injector is probably stuck open. How did you clean them? ultrasonic?

damn I knew I screwed it up! No i just used carb and throttle cleaner...sprayed it in each port and then used compressed air to blow out each port end.

So dozanti did I ruin my injector or is there a way to get it free from not sticking. I know I definitely have spark as I checked all my coils and plugs already. Thanks.

Replaced the injector and now it is back misfiring on cylinder 3....I am really lost on this one. I guess what I need to know is if this would be strictly an injector problem since I definitely know all my coil packs are good. The only thing I can think of is my injector wiring harness could be junk now that I pulled it back away real far when I removed my injectors. I do have cracked insulation at all the wires and boots going into the plugs.

spent all morning looking over connections and wires...currently cleaning all the grounds. I vag'd the car after another attempt and get the following - after I already cleared the engine cylinder misfire codes....could I have a bad ecu? I thought it could be grounds b/c a wile back when it was raining out my dash lights began to flicker....what can I check for next?

    I need 2 questions answered:
    1. Will a faulty injector cause misfires and flood out the cylinder if stuck open? Could I have damaged them by using compressed air to clean then?
    2. If so would I get a specific injector fault code instead of p301 cylinder misfire?
