    I haven't seen any B8s on the net in this colour - nothing actually. So just wanted to share. Colours are a matter of personal taste. Goes without saying that I liked this colour and that's why I ordered my car this way, but one nice thing that interested me was the fact that the shade/tone changes depending on the light source and angle.

    Thanks guys. Glad you like it.

    According to Audi, Dakota Grey is not a pearl effect paint - just metallic.

    There are not many cars in this colour in my area at all and I kinda relied on A6 and A7 photos. I was pretty nervous for four months until the car arrived in the dealership and I got to see it in flesh. Phew, that was a relief! :-)

    It is a not often seen color, and very nice IMO.
    Can you tell me the Color Code (s/b in spare wheel well in trunk) - I've found 3 codes for Audi Dakota Grey Metallic: LY1P, Y7PA, Y7Y7
    (Monsoon Grey Metallic has 6 different color codes) - not sure if Audi uses different codes for same paint on different models.
