I've been in contact with the guy from www.usmillworks.com They dont have their Audi kits currently listed on their site but I have been in contact with the guy for over 6 months and right before christmas he told me he does have Audi kits instock. They look to have the best desgin compared to other tow hook license plate brackets.

Was never really a fan of the tow hook plate.

Same idea here, but in reverse because the car is black and the silver grill looks huge on the car. The filler bar or even a front plate would help make the grill appear smaller and more fitting for the car. Again, only my opinion and no offense intended to the guys who actually own those cars.

Ive been thinking the same thing. Its like a bird cage. Just to much open space. Dont get me wrong though the facelift front end is dope but def does need something in that space. I have even wonder how it would look if the audi emblem was center.

No prob--I tried it the way you mentioned at first, but wanted a way to take the plate off quickly and that's when I thought of using spacers. I also used lock washers/rubber washers to help keep it from coming loose.

On the pre-FL car, it would look like this:

Just registered my car the other day and returned to see the responses. Thanks! Had no idea this was a filler over the actual plate holder. Glad I won't have to drill through it.

Edit: and I just realized I revived a month old thread. Oops.

Also, would any mods such as a bigger FMIC get in the way? These are all things that need to be considered. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Hey no prob. I cant believe I missed this post. Just noticed it because the thread got bumped. I dont know how it would hold up. Salt destroys everything. A FMIC might get in the way if you wanted to mount it just like the video. You would have to mount it lower.

I live in NYC area and just put some extra oil it... if it breaks it is an easy mod to replace and not too expensive... it is a must IMHO on this type of grill...
