To all the 3.2L owners out there, I wanted to let you know the process for changing the engine air filters in our cars. The videos below help but they are not quite accurate.
1. Remove the air "snorkel" by removing the two Phillips screws and clean out per the the YouTube video (the snorkel connection on top of the airbox just pops off with slight effort).
2. Remove the dual hose clamp from the rubber boot. It just pulls straight up. You may or may not need to free one of the hoses from the clamp.
3. Remove the two Phillips screws on the air box per the YouTube video.
4. Remove the Audi Rings "shroud" toward the top of the engine (nearest the windshield) by gently pulling up on it. There are 3 connection points (one on each side and one in the middle) and it just pops off.
5. Release the clamp on the rubber boot that connects the air box to the intake manifold (vice grips are best per the YouTube video) and carefully (more on this in step #6) disconnect the boot.
6. There is an "L" connection on the back of the rubber boot near the intake manifold (it looks fragile). Remove the soft rubber tube from the "L" connection. Do not try to twist or remove the "L" connector.
7. Remove the air box cover to reveal the air filter.
8. Remove and replace the air filter after vacuuming any debris that may reside in the air box.
9. Reposition the air box cover paying special attention to the "ears" at the bottom of the air box (see YouTube video).
10. Follow the steps above in reverse and you are done!
I suggest watching the two videos below a couple of times before attempting. I am a mechanical moron and this is actually simple! Literally, if I can do it, anyone can do it.

My 12 year old and I performed this replacement along with the cabin filter replacement and windshield wiper replacement (videos included below) and this is as simple as it gets for an Audi. The cabin filter and windshield wiper replacement took us a total of 25 min. Again, I am a complete mechanical moron.
