Lightbulb Audi TT 5x100 conversion to 5x112, no adapters

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Here's the story.... I've googled and checked Audi World, VAG, what am I missing....
I WANT to convert (newbie here) from 5x100 to 5x112 without adapters.
    I currently have a A4 B6 and just inherited an 01 TT 180.

    Both are Quattro

I have two sets of extra rims and don't want to add anymore in my garage.
So.... I've been trying to search for hub and rotors that would do this..... so i can swap rims with my A4 and TT.

Has anyone successfully done this? because I sure have not found anything...

Yep^ unless you don't want to bother with exchanging, this is your solution: http://store.42draftdesigns.com/VWAu...Set_p_434.html ..Either way.. you will need "something"

@ Yung .... Don't want to sell a set because one set is my winter.... the other set is my spare I use when roads are hella dry (summer tires) then I have my road trip tires....
@ AWD ... I saw them... and that's really my last resort.... I really want to swap out the HUBs if that's all i have to do (plus get rotors) but I don't want to take it of the B6 and find out it doesnt work. The only thing I scared of happening is taking a turn too fast that the adapter breaks and my wheel goes one way while the TT goes flipping... Have you used them and if so for how long?

Once it's on there, you should be good unless you are Rallying the car... Of course I have no real world experience as I have never used them since I just purchase wheels with the corresponding ET/bolt pattern... But like you said, you already have them and don't want to give them up, so I understand your dilemma.

Did you think about redrilling your 5x100 hubs to 5x112?

That was an option..... then I would have to redrill the rotors too or just find the right spec rotors and slip them on and I'm set.... I'm always weary doing stuff like this..... I'd rather have them already made as 5x112 then poking new holes.....

Rotors would HAVE to be the correct size.

This ^^^ (adaptors) is the simple/best solution and is what most (99.99999999999%, but I may not be exact) do because it is the simple/cheap solution. You can make it more difficult and try to swap hubs/rotors, but cost would be greater and result would only be equal at best. No need to reinvent the wheel on this mod.

    Just my 2cents.

    cheers.

Check with Adaptec Speedware. I know they do the Double Up system where they sell dual drilled rotors and hubs for 4x100 and 5x100. Maybe they can do it for 5x100 and 112.

Thanks Chris.... Ended up going with Adaptec... and did the Adapters.... as my research thus far has proven no actual conversion of HUB and Rotor.... Thanks... I'll be getting them just after XMAS.... nice peeps and helpfuly over there at Adaptec!
