    Question B8 A5/S5/RS5 - max unlimited speed?

    Any data on how fast these cars go with the speed limiter off? Would be interested to see posts on max speed attained, type of tune/exhaust/pulleys etc..... Dying to know how fast a v6 s5 will go...

    Take the limiter off and find out!

    This guy in the Czech Republic drove an RS5 to the limiter a couple of years ago. He claims the car could go well beyond it.

    290km/h is 180mp/h - pretty quick.

    Been in a delimited supercharged S5 V8 (not mine, but same model year and charger) as a passenger and the car made 186mph. Not sure what the V6T will make.

    290? Wow, he has a death wish, but it was heart pounding watching him go to 290. It took a short time for him to get to 290. It stayed at 289 km/h for 5 seconds before he was able to hit 290, but he stayed at 290 for a few seconds and that is death defying.

    I actually managed a GPS 268 KM/H and the speedo was a little over 270.
    I was really surprised that these aren't limited

    I believe one of the S4 guys hit 189mph with a tune. Cant find the link of course, but that's what I remember.

    140 mph in my 2001 S4 (chipped) was fast enough, especially when you are signaling to the driver behind you to pass at VIR. Almost blew my arm off.
