Passer-bys spilling coffee at cars purposely?

I'm not sure if anybody has experienced this before...

This is the second time in 3 weeks that my car had coffee spilled purposely on the outside of my RS5 by passer-bys. And a little bit of chocolate from the coffee drink (or what have you) wedged into the hood line (the line/hole that is between the hood and the body of the car). It happened both times in DIFFERENT shopping malls' parking lots.

It is weird. Why would anybody do that purposely?

I know it is just coffee, but it is weird. And, it is angers me a little bit (Because I have to clean it up).

Has it happened to your car? Just looking to see if it has happened to you guys.

Sounds like random jealousy to me. I know it sucks, but be glad they didn't key it. I had a six month old car that someone keyed down to the metal.

twice for me as well.. happens when i park my car outside...
I have a Ibis white A5 :'( so i can clearly see them on my hood

My dad had one incident where some kids threw rocks at his e46 m3 (right when they first came out). They put a few paint chips on his hood, but nothing major.

Caught some high school age kids who broke out our neighbor's car window with hockey sticks. Boy was that sweet. Kid was trembling.

That sucks but a quick question though, were you taking up more than one parking space? I've seen a quite a few people take up 2-3 spaces w/ their new cars in a shopping center so no one parks to close to their car.

Could be. One of the times, a BMW Z4 (I think that is the correct number) was parked nearby. When I came back from the mall, that car was gone and my RS5 was "coffeed".

Could also be BMW or Benz owners don't that.

Could be some young teenager that wanted their parents to buy them a RS5/Porsche/etc. but got a lower-end car instead? I'm sure it is a young adult or teenager. I cannot, for the life of me, imagine a thirty-year old or older person doing this.

I think the culprits are teenagers or very young adults.

The parking arrangement was perfectly normal. My car was not on any parking lines.... I haven't actually seen people take 2-3 spaces with a new car. Maybe, when you saw the 2-3 spaces car spot, there were a lot of empty spaces around?

Seen it a few times here in the SF bay area in shopping centers when its crowded an a person takes up 2 spots on purpose because they have a new or what they think is a nice car. Pisses me off but not enough to do anything about it though.
