Major problem with my new 2013 Audi Q5; Any advice, knowledge?

Hi I'm new here but here goes:
    Hi Everyone,
I just bought my first Audi (2013 Q5) -my last car for 12 years was a VW Passat wagon, a perfect car!--. I was so excited to lease my first luxury car but I have a weird and HUGE problem. I was having back pain after 1.5 weeks of delivery and wondered why it was happening--finally noticed my seat was turned right and too close to the middle console! Now, I now nothing about cars, but even I know this is bizarre. The 1st thing that was problematic was the rumbling driver side door-took it in and they found that it was warped. A new door is coming from Germany. I am using a loaner car for the current problem of the right turned seat--AND the right oriented steering wheel! I don't know if the production of the Q5 was rushed--they were all late to the showrooms, instead of late September, they came late November)but his is so unusual. My husband also drove it one day and noticed it too. One service guy, who was with me while I snapped pics of my car AND other identical 2013 models in the showroom agreed with me. The other service guy the next day said pictures can be distorted ? I uploaded them immediately to the service team right after I took them so if he's alluding to photoshop or something, that's crazy and lucky for me that I did it all with the other service guy with me.
So, long story short, when in the driver cockpit, your back feels straight but your knees, feet and steering wheel go right--then you start to compensate and lean left to correct the imbalance! It's painful for me (I have a ruptured disc, so I do feel twists before most people as a result).
Anyone EVER hear of something strange like this? Currently, I have a loaner car & they are taking measurements against other 2013 q5's to see if mine is really 'off'.
I'm pretty scared as I just signed the lease 2 weeks ago and this car sure isn't cheap!
    Any help is so appreciated.

Being the door is not right. I am thinking the car might have been in a accident or damaged at port.

    Doors don't just warp.

If it turns out that your's is actually off, and you've only had it two weeks, I would demand that they give you a new car. Your dealer should be on your side on something like this, so if they balk in any way, I would immediately turn the matter over to your lawyer. The occasional defective part is unavoidable on a new car, but this isn't what you're describing.

Thanks for your comments guglielmo. I was inaccurate about the door being warped, it is the door panel, not the metal door. Everything else is how I described it though. Awaiting news from the Audi service shop--car has been there since Thursday and no news yet. Will keep you posted.
    Thanks again~

Thanks Desmo (and in2dwww) for your advice and info. I really hope I don't have to demand a replacement car for my defective one but I guess I may have to since I can't drive the damn thing! I don't have a lawyer but hopefully it won't come to that. I've been told to call Audi America and speak with the general manager of the dealership, which I will do if they come back and say, it's 'normal' (except for the warped door panel).
Really appreciate your help. Thank you.

Your dealer should definitely be on your side in working to rectify the problem. It sounds as if they're trying to find a reasonable "margin of error" by taking "measurements" of other Q5 seats. To me, however, this would not be acceptable. I would not rest until this problem is corrected to your satisfaction, and if the dealer is getting you no where, would go straight to AOA.

    Hi Name.goes.here,
Thank you for your input. Every bit sure helps. It's funny that the first thing we noticed (and was the first thing we brought the car in for) was the bad speaker quality (bass shakes, rattles doors) then found that the driver side door panel was warped. Don't know if they checked the passenger side door for warping but the speakers sound blown out (my husband makes speakers for a living so we do *know* sound at least!)
The current story today is that they took the measurements on the driver side seat and there is nothing different (!) but he did say that the seat cushion is 'different'. Well, he can't measure the cushion because he said they're all different but they will let me sit in their loaner q5 with beige seats and if that seat is normal, they said they can swap it out with mine. --we're still waiting for the correct driver seat door panel and I've been using loaner cars for a whole week. I am really hoping that the other beige seat will be ok, but not holding my breath. As this is my last solution to being able to drive my new car!
Getting back to the speakers, I can't believe that the B&0 speakers sound SO BAD compared to the regular ones! The q5 they gave me today as a loaner sounds great, no bass rattling and full on bass sound. There is a 'subwolfer' function in this one that the B&0 does not have so maybe that's the difference but I can't believe how awful the more expensive B&O sounds....everything is so frustrating with this new car!
In addition to all that, the loaner q5 car just drives better, smoother, no lapse when stepping on the gas, and the breaks are smooth too. I don't know if my new car is a lemon, but a lot of things are just bad on it.
Really bummed and stressed. I will take your advice on going to audi of america if nothing solves the problems. This has taken and looks like it will take quite a long time to fix.....sigh.
Again, thank you so much for your advice. I really appreciate it.

No problem - I appreciate your frustration. Sadly, however, lemons do, occasionally, come along. Yours is a brand new Q5 - one which you paid hard-money for, and should be satisfied with your purchase. The fact remains that whether it be your seat cusion or the seat, itself, there is something not right and it needs to be addressed. No one should be forced to drive around with back pain, and I would not be afraid to push the issue. Keep in mind that AoA sends around surveys after service visits, and you should make sure that you tell the service manager that you are displeased and will voice your disapproval in both the survey as well as moving forward pursuaing a compalint with AoA. Another option to consider: taking your Q5 to a different dealer to see if you get a more acceptable result. Perhaps a different dealer would be willing to earn your business as a new customer (even though the sale was made elsewhere), and pursue the issue further. It is not uncommon for one dealer to correct an issue that another dealer overlooked, or did not want to be bothered fixing. You always have other options, and should not consider your current dealer's determination to be a, "last solution."
