Copper (LZ8M) B5 1.8t from Ireland

As many of of my friends know, I have been talking about getting a B5 for months upon months now!
Well last Sunday, I finally got me one! :D
Unfortunately it's not kingfisher blue and god only knows how I'll feed it but for the price and spec, I couldn't turn it down!

UK import 1.8TQM so she has all the bells and whistles like half leather seats, air con, bose sound system etc . . . a mile away from my trusty jetta!! :lol:

Plans are as follows:
Address 1.8t common faults eg/ timing belt, water pump, oil pickup
AP Coilies (ST coilies to you yanks)
Roll Arches
Engine spacers if I can find some
Remove 'A4' & 1.8t badge
And fit these . . . :D

ahahaha, you'd be supprised how much irish accents vary from north to south! The further north, the deeper the voice, southerners are high pitched. I live in the middle! :D :P

I like this color a lot. +1 for an Irish b5 owner. My great grandmother was from county Mayo. I have the county coat of arms on my trunk!

@Josh, Mayo would be about 2.5hours from me. Nice place and worth a visit if you want to see old, stereotypical Ireland with old stone walls and small, rocky, green fields for miles

Picked these up

And the car is in with my good friend to get all the nigglely bits sorted. I'll get her tested and then get her fitted :D

Like the seats. I have the same ones but not leather mine are just the sports cloth ones. Never seen them with leather

The paint code I have up is deffo correct and I checked it in the book! :D
Progress is slow but steady! I'm still on course for my deadline :D
Tow bar is being removed now and I'm gonna wrap in inner door blades in CF wrap to hide the scratches :D

Right so, bit of a nightmare with this leading up to dubshed resulting it it being as high as it was on the wheels it was on!

So after all I got a set of Audi A8 Parabolas from Doc (Thanks Doc!) which do look well on it even though it's sky high and they need a refurb! I got the arches rolled on the Thursday, resprayed bumper on the friday and the rest done on Saturday!
The bumper was done by a local fella and he made a great job of it as I only left him the petrol cap to work with! He was quick and very well priced too! I'm going back to him soon for some more spray work :D

After Dubshed, I collected the S4 carbon door trims I bought off ebay :D I got the ones with the blue weave in them as they match the seats and all ties in well together!
Put them in this evening and I'm really happy with them! Thanks a million to Aaron Hegerty for letting me post them to his house to save a ball on postage! Not to forget the cuppa tae! :P

Car looks great! Did you upgrade the radio? I'd love to have one of those radios, it looks so clean, but apparently I need a european radio to get the hex(?) adapter needed for it to work or something.

That is the radio that came in the car but I plan on replacing it with a double din unit soon! I would sell it to you if you were willing to pay for postage!

Hey guys!
Really time to give this an update! Progress has been slow and the car still isn't back on the road due to my insurance company being an ass!

So in this time I have bought a few bits, had it parked outside a painters for 2 months, only taking it back 3 weeks ago to get it ready for Dubshed last weekend.

Needs to come down a little bit on the front but this is how it sat

Germany didn't get these seats man ;)
This is a UK market 1.8tqSport that came with either my seats or Recaro seats with the same material was an option.
These seats without the blue weave are common though
