Pic? I would imagine a pair of needle nose pliers pulling it would with another tool loosening the clip. Without pics it's hard to give advice.

Can anyone provide an extra pair of hands where you are?

I'd hand thread a screw into it, push the locking clip in and try and vise grip the screw out. When you break the fuel line end on the filter, it's vastly worse.

Does the broken nipple spin inside the locking clip?

How the heck did you manage this?!?!

You're going to have to find a way to pull out the barb while you press the unlocking buttons on the connector. Maybe you can hold the barb with some pliers and screw in a large course thread screw into soft aluminum barb to get a better grip of it?

Get a screw or something that will fill the hole, put some epoxy glue on the end. Shove it in. Let it dry. Try again.

is there any way to break it up into pieces in the hose and then take it out? im pretty sure the clips on the line have seized basically i try pressing them in and they dont work. the reason i think this is because the other fuel line i took off like this was far more simple. one try thats it.

The nipple I believe is aluminum. Only thing I can thing of is to use small needle nose pliers and tire to bend and crimp over itself to make it smaller than the hole.

You aren't going to get the barb out unless you release the locking clips on the connector..........end of story. So you need to figure out how to push on the barb while you press the release buttons on the connector......and then pull out the barb while holding the connector release buttons.

What he said is what you need to do to get it done - unless you're up to replacing that whole fuel line.
