Hey guys, just so u know yes I've search but haven't got the right answer. Will a stock exhaust from a manual fit on a auto? I'm talking from the flex pipe back (not down pipe). Thanks for the help.

I havent looked into this either but i would assume yes. Just because that way audi only had to produce different down pipes rather than an entirely new exhaust.

yes it does, the down pipe is the only difference. I was looking into the magnaflow 16680, it's listed for both FWD and quattro. Only certain exhausts like the APR are specific because they include a larger DP.

True that its larger than stock, but to make the APR unit fit tip trans cars, all you have to do is grind off the bracket on the dp... ask me how i know .

the flex is part of the downpipe. so NO IT WONT FIT. from downpipe back will fit, but you would need to get the correct downpipe/flex pipe for your car based on which transmission you have! The magnaflow is listed as fitting both because it does not come with a downpipe like most exhausts.

edit: i think i got confused with your wording and just repeated basically what everyone else has told you. lol
