Scanned my car today to clear my check engine light, I had a hfc put in so I figured it was a fault for that. Pulled the codes and I got the efficiency fault and a fault for the engine mount. Cleared the faults but the engine mount fault comes back on right away. Car has about 7k miles and ill probably take it to the dealer. But I know I'll be flagged for td1 since I have software.
Forgot to take a screen shot of the fault but its similar to this.
005491 - Left Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N144)
    P1573 - 001 - Open Circuit

Do you have rough idle? That would be a symptom of bad mounts.
They should be able to diagnose the failed mount without plugging it in.
A bad mount will usually leak hydraulic fluid.
Could be just a lose cable/sensor also as your car is so new.

Bad mounts from past July. Was already flagged TD1 and Audi would not cover.

Ouch, those mounts look bad. I too had to replace mine, which was an out of pocket expense... Close to $500 all together

Damn. Well Revo lied and they didn't have a flash available yet. So I'm going to the dealer now before I get my Stage 2 done. All I have now is the HFC cat so hopefully they won't TD1 my car

Dropped the car off at the dealer today. SA just called me and asked if the ecu is flashed. We'll see what they find.

I had this error before... along with many other "open circuit" errors. Left my car at the airport and rabbits had climbed up into my engine compartment and went to town on the wiring. Turned into a $300 trip to the dealer to replace the harnesses and add braided steel.

I replaced my (L) Engine mount two days ago and last night ran a VCDS scan and still getting 5394 - Left Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N144) fault, you can see my old mount was toast
    [IMG][/IMG]

My scan below, any ideas what to check, used Lemfroder mount made in Germany, looks like they are an OEM supplier on this part.
    1 Fault Found:

5394 - Left Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N144)
    P1571 00 [039] - Short to Plus
Not Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 00000001
    Fault Priority: 2
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Mileage: 187963 km
    Date: 2018.07.19
    Time: 19:08:48

I noticed fluid leaking out of right mount and have a 2nd mount on order, can the right side being bad cause the left side to Fault ?
