Looking for a Performance Shop for Audi in the Seattle Area

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey Guys,

I just moved up here to the northwest, Seattle specifically, from San Francisco. I've been bringing my Audi to 034 down in the Bay Area and I'm looking for a shop of the same quality and experience up here in Seattle.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks!

Check out AMD. Addict Motorsports Design in Woodinville, WA.

Jason the owner has Audi in his blood. They dyno tune in house too!

He's really busy so the best way to meet him is go by the shop. He builds audi's and racekars.

If you aren't limited to just Seattle, check out Achtuning in Redmond. They are great guys.

Agreed with this^ He's usually very busy because the shop is literally ran by him, himself. Quality work and I've gone to him for everything and it'll probably stay that way.

    OP, welcome to the PNW!
If you don't mind on sharing, what model Audi do you have?
    Build phase: '01 B5 S4 - Silver

PARTS NEEDED (contact me via pm if you have these): Euro rear bumper (Sedan), B5 RS4 gauge cluster, AWE boost gauge kit (v2 30psi), RS4 intake parts.

Alright thanks guys, I'll give those places a call tomorrow and check them out. There isn't really a performance Audi garage near Seattle then huh?

Fine tuning is a Unitronic Dealer, its just north of Seattle off of 99. I can't attest to the quality of their work as I've never even been there. But they exist.

There's Fat City right downtown, but I've heard they're a bit of a ripoff and I wouldn't really recommend them.

An awesome non-Audi speicalist is Group2 Motorsports in Magnolia. If you're into old Euro cars, they've always got a host of old Alfas sitting around the shop. Really decent guys and they're involved in motorsports so they know their shit.

Of course I've never actually taken my car to any of these places for repairs as I do all my work myself, but their reputations are good and I know Group2 has a very clean shop (which is a good sign) and they love old Euro cars (also a good sign).

Addict Motorsports hands down. I was just there about 2 weeks ago and Jason loaded my car up with a solid stage 3- tune that was compatible with what I was running on my car. I previously had a giac stage 3- then had some work done on the car and the tune was overboosting big time so I had my N75 unplugged and was at a boring 8lbs for about a month then finally got in touch with Jason and my car has never ran better. I was there for a total of about an hour and he is a super nice guy to work with and really knows his stuff. I am running a comfortable 20lbs on my tune and it feels so much smoother than before. Big thumbs up for Addict Motorsports! I will not be taking my car anywhere else.

Only problem with AMD is he doesn't seem to appreciate the 4 bangers.

It seems that he approves of the 6 cylinders and above.

AMD is open to 4 bangers now. Horizons have expanded.

Do you guys know if things have changed where Jason takes like a year to get your car done and actually communicates any progress? :D

I'm not intentionally knocking AMD because I've heard some insane things happen there, but want this person to get the full picture :).

Things don't happen overnight, but you'll never see anything less then perfection leave the shop. Worth the wait.

Hey, just to clarify...I've been trying to get a hold of AMD for quite some time now with no luck (calling the number listed on FB)
Have they moved? Is he still in Woodinville in that obscure business park?
I've got 3-4 cars begging for some professional dyno tuning. (tired of this back and forth logging and re-flashing crap)

*LOL* Internet fanboyism is always more than entertaining. As an opinion, you are completely entitled to it, but if this statement is a proclamation, it is so severely flawed I don't even know where to begin.

Absolutely agree. Doing it right with perfection is one thing, but having no communication and having the car for a year+ is another.

    Ha, far from it.

Shop is moved. Shop is producing at a much faster rate. Things have gotten much better on that front, without the level of quality dropping.

What are you driving and what do you want done?

Asking for a shop near you means that its probably for a fan belt or clutch job, not tuning. Need more info.

    Go to AMD in Woodinville

AMD knows their stuff and is well versed in get great Audi's to be even 'greater'

Jason definitely knows his stuff, but so do all the other folks there...here's some first hand feedback on this forum:
