    hey guys,

i have a 2008 Audi A4 2.0t S-Line with the rns-e/bose audio package. i have the ipod adapter thats located inside the glove compartment but no more ipod. im trying to hook up and 3.5mm headphone jack input. is there a way to connect directly to the aux-in wire so that i can play my music. i tried using an adapter that has RCA on one side and the other side is positive and negative wires to connect directly but no luck. i tried splicing into the blue harness behind the radio which has the aux in L and aux in R wire as well as the common ground wire. is there a "turn on" wire that needs a signal/power first so that the radio will recognize that theres an outside source plugged in. i hope this description is somewhat clear and understandable. thanks guys

its almost similar to this write up but the rnse has much more wire on the blue harness. and i believe the input on the rnse is the "CDC" wire? i guess cd changer? theres also a 32 pin harness input thats behind the radio the has an "AUX" wire but i dont have that harness connected i guess my car didnt come with it
