You might want to consider a newer style M3 or M5 spoiler. From the e93 M3 or the F10 M5. They are both basically the same shape and size but the M5 is much more aggressive looking. Both fit the B5 trunk without alteration. I recently replace my old style with a new one from a E93 M3 and i think it fits the body lines better. Here is a pic of mine in CF.

Looks interesting. Do you have any shots of that spoiler from different angles? Someone db ripped the old M3 lip off of my brother's 2.8 in Boston. He's looking for a replacement.

Lol now I'm not such a fan of the csl lip. Might be better in person though.

if you want a look close to that of the CSL full trunk, with a stick on spoiler try looking at the f10 M5 style spoiler it is the same shape as the E93 style spoilers but much taller. From what I can tell would fit on a B5.

I can barely see it from my rear view mirror, must of been because yours was a vert and it had the brake light on it?

A CSL trunk is like yoga pants guys...

Sorry but the e46 lip spoiler still looks best on the b5 s4.
Also why does everyone put it so far up on the trunk?
    It's a LIP spoiler lol!

Not sure where the discrepancy is here, but per your recommendation and comment about it being the more aggressive look of the two I ordered an F10 M5 cf spoiler for my B5 S4 last year, but it DOES NOT fit the B5 at all!

Figured I'll try the m3 e93 instead, but before I do, need to triple check-can anyone confirm this will indeed fit?!

I forget who makes it, but I personally enjoy the carbon fibre one that is pretty aggressive looking - also expensive!
