    Coolant temp sensor

I am convinced that my coolant temp sensor is shot because my temp gauge is reading colder than normal and the coolant light came on twice.. so to replace it I found one at advance auto, autozone, and a random site. I also heard that you need to replace the clamp becuase it normally breaks along with the o-ring.. but advance and autozone do not sell the clamp and o-ring along with the sensor.. but the random website does.. so where did you guys get your sensors from?

here you go. I went with OEM even though its more expensive. Comes with the o-ring and clip.

I bought from autozone but had to go to the dealer and pay $11 for a clip and o ring. Bastards!

If you order online, those clips and orings are about 12 Cents a piece, I like to order 5 at a time just in case!

Having your coolant temp gauge read lower than normally when at operating temperature usually indicates the thermostat is sticking (if you are running cooler than expected it may be stuck open, while if you are overheating the thermostat could be stuck closed).

Granted, the coolant temp sensor is super easy to change and very inexpensive, so I would start with that. If the CTS is not the fix, I'd bet it's your thermostat, especially if it's never been changed.
