I tried doing it just messing around and it wouldn't let me. As soon as i apply the brake it cut's the throttle. Perhaps it's the stock tune .

yessir, youll get throttle cut without a tune that allows brake boosting. Its a safety feature.

YOU CAN BRAKE BOOST WITHOUT A TUNE.

End of story. See post #5.

Proper tune will also allow you to apply brake pedal while having gas pedal applied without throttle cut but again, for brake boosting just follow #5 on stock and tunes without brake boosting feature.

ok thanks, again still learning more and more about these cars. I was having same issues as others where it would cut the throttle off acting like i slammed on the brakes. Thanks again and yes the k04's wake up fairly easy without brake boosting. just thought i give it a try.

Is your throttle cutting instantly or after 5-10 seconds? Mine has a delay before it cuts, but yeah on the highway there isn't any lag on my F4Hs.

Resurrecting an old thread, but I tried brake boosting and as soon as I let of the brake and mashed the gas the car hit the normal 16psi before it instantly dropped to 5psi and wouldn't boost past that. Had to unplug the battery and reset the ECU before it started boosting properly again. No need on a K03 car but I also had my foot on the gas when I applied the brake.

These cars can produce oodles of power and even with 770s, I just choose the right gear. No need for brake boost.

Agreed, just did it out of curiosity. Anything at 3k or above for K03 cars is pretty much instant spool. I unhooked the battery for a few minutes, car is back to normal.

I brake boost on STG 2 SMS tune and works very well. Follow post # 5. As for those of you that think its pointless with k03s. results vs various cars suggest over and over that brake boosting helps a lot!
As for gearing when brake boosting.
