Fastest you've been in a B6 S4??

Mine is bone stock and got up to the limiter pretty easy 250kph/155mph. So I'm sure with the right mods 300kph/185 would be possible?

What's the fastest you have been in a b6 s4?

Drag would have stopped you long before you would have run out of gear.

It is "brake" pads, not "break" pads.

Drag is exponential. If you dropped it into 6th the car wouldnt have the grunt (stock) to overcome the drag.

I realize this and am not disputing it. S4orgy just worded his sentence like he thought the car could would have kept going the rest of the way through 5th and 6th gear... and this would not be the case.

EDIT: and looking at your last post, I now understand what you are saying too. I did not realize 6th was that short.

I feel like my car isn't tight" enough for that, idk if it was the steering that was kinda bouncing me a little or the suspension, but I felt like I was gonna loose control. Any suggestions for a tighter straighter feel at high speeds ?

I've only hit 130 doing a quick pull on the interstate passing a group of cars..... honestly didn't even realize I was going that fast. These S4's are so planted to the road!!

On a private driveway this summer I hit 150 indicated.....was still pulling a bit but my neighbor was up ahead. When I looked at my GPS I was a bit disheartened to see that my VMax was only 141....

I was impressed with how planted the car felt especially compared to our old B5 S4.

I'm confused by this statement. If the limiter is at 155mph, then going to 167 means no limiter right? But there's still a fuel cut-off? Sorry if I sound daft.

I think Audi isn't very strict with the limiter, its there just higher than what they say it is. I almost buried the speedo in my stock S4 before it started bucking against the fuel cut.
